A new town district is planned between the town limits of Goes and the A58 motorway, to provide space for 700 to 1000 homes, more than 50 hectares of industrial estate, a new civil (recreational) green structure and a wet intermediary zone for water storage. The programme and the design themes were explored on the basis of a structural vision; to be consequently worked out at the parcellation and allocation plan level. The framework of vectors was a constant from the start and during the many years of development of the area. As a result, a great deal of attention has been paid during the realisation of the project to the design of the public spaces, the water system and the routes through the area.
