The new "Waterschap Zeeuwse eilanden" office will be situated at the canal running through Walcheren, near the station in Middelburg. The surface area of the office amounts to 12,000 m². The public and administrative functions are to be found on the ground floor and on the 1st floor. The other floors are organised as office space that can be organised at will. Aquifer (underground heat and cold storage) and solar cells are used for the power supply.
