The new office of the CZ Groep health insurance, is all but an average building. It has a marked architecture of its own that links up seamlessly with the identity of the health insurance company it accommodates; contemporary and solid as the concrete used and on the other hand as clear and transparent as glass. All in all, an exceptional accommodation where both the visitor and the people working in it feel comfortable.
A striking feature of the building is that the materials used on the outside of the building are also used inside. The concrete contains black, red and glistening natural stone, both on the outside and inside. The concrete emanates a rich and cheerful image because it is polished. Outside, the red in the concrete returns in the colour of the paving bricks on the square, whereas inside the floors are covered in stone-red carpet. Furthermore, a lot of glass is used in the interior, combined with warm tinted synthetic material. The whole of the building breathes a friendly, but at the same time, a business-like atmosphere. Cooling and heating are controlled via the ceiling. This air conditioning system that can be controlled individually, turns the office into the ideal work place.
